| Midweek Read Selective Rotation Is Not Yet AltseasonBitcoin is rebuilding above support, ETF demand has turned positive again, and Ethereum is outperforming on the week. Constructive, yes. Confirmed, not yet. | | Executive Snapshot Bitcoin has pushed back above $65,000, U.S. spot ETF demand has turned positive again, and Ethereum is outperforming on the week. That is constructive. It is not, on its own, evidence of a broad altseason. The most important development this week is the return of institutional demand. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net inflow of $226.8 million in the latest completed session, bringing the six-session total to roughly $302.3 million — five of six sessions positive, and the pace has been accelerating. That buying is arriving while Bitcoin is still below resistance, not after a breakout. Institutions appear willing to accumulate the pullback rather than wait for confirmation, which helps explain why the market is stabilizing despite a difficult macro backdrop. But the ceiling has not broken. Bitcoin still faces resistance near $65,700–$66,000, then $68,000. Ethereum's 7.7% weekly gain is stronger than Bitcoin's 5.0%, yet stablecoin supply is roughly flat to slightly lower and Dogecoin is little changed on the week. Capital is rotating. It is not flooding the entire market — this is selective participation, not broad breadth. The market remains in a Balance Phase with a selective rotation test underway. The next confirmation the Alpha Process is watching for is Bitcoin clearing $66,000–$68,000 while stablecoin liquidity and broader market participation expand behind it — not price alone. | | Market State · This Week's Signals |
| | Signal 1 — Bitcoin Rebuilding the Floor. Testing the Ceiling. Bitcoin is near $65,100, up 5.0% over seven days. Immediate resistance sits at $65,700–$66,000, then $68,000; support has moved up to roughly $63,700, with $62,000–$62,500 as the next structural line below that. Volatility is moderate and rising. This is a market rebuilding structure from below — constructive, but the resistance band above has not been cleared or retested. |
| | Signal 2 — Ethereum Leading the Rotation. Not Yet Confirming It. ETH is near $1,897, up 7.7% on the week — outpacing Bitcoin's 5.0% gain and testing the top of its recent range. ETH/BTC has improved to roughly 0.0291. That is a genuine signal, but a single strong week is not the same as a durable trend reversal, and it isn't being funded by expanding stablecoin supply, which is roughly flat to slightly lower over the same period. |
| | Signal 3 — Institutional Flow The Floor Is Being Rebuilt in Real Time. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs added $226.8 million in the latest session and roughly $302.3 million over the past six — five of six positive, with the daily pace accelerating over the last three sessions. Institutions are buying below resistance rather than waiting for a breakout. That builds a floor. It does not, by itself, guarantee the ceiling breaks. |
| | | | Claim "ETF inflows mean Bitcoin must break $70,000 immediately." Structure Farside shows $226.8M on the latest session and roughly $302.3M over six sessions — but Bitcoin remains below its $66K–$68K resistance band. Flows build support. They don't set a timetable for a breakout. |
| | Claim "Ethereum's strength proves altseason has already begun." Structure ETH is up 7.7% over seven days versus BTC's 5.0% — a real improvement in relative strength. But Dogecoin is roughly flat on the week, and stablecoin supply, the fuel for a broad move, is flat to slightly lower. This is selective rotation, not confirmed breadth. |
| | Claim "Macro pressure no longer matters because institutions are buying." Structure The 10-year yield sits near 4.63%, the dollar has firmed for a fourth straight session, and oil has risen on geopolitical tension. ETF demand is offsetting that pressure this week. It has not eliminated it. |
| | Clearing the Chaos A $226.8 million ETF inflow sounds enormous, but it equals less than two-hundredths of one percent of Bitcoin's roughly $1.3 trillion market cap — a repeated directional signal, not a one-day guarantee. A durable rotation needs more than one strong week from Ethereum: multiple weeks of stable-to-falling BTC dominance, expanding stablecoin supply, and broader participation across the smaller-cap market. Until that shows up, the discipline is the same regardless of the headline — hold structure, don't chase the narrative. |
